I absolutely love holidaying with my family in our caravan. But as you will know when you have a family you literally have to pack your entire home when on holiday. I’m a sucker for over packing and find it hard to stay organised and tidy. Here I have some top tips for cramming in all your items to stay in control of all that STUFF!
STORAGE
Cupboard Shelf Organiser
If you’re like me and have children that are constantly hungry, will know how much food you need while holidaying in your caravan. These cabinet shelves will expand your storage space giving you much more storage space. Spice bottles, cans – all that chaos can be sorted. These have literally quadrupled my storage space.

Space saving hangers
When holidaying in England its always a bit of a gamble when it comes to the weather! If in the school summer holiday, you decide to take a trip you’ll need clothes for all weather conditions, jumpers, trousers, shorts, raincoats etc.. All this can take up so much storage space in your wardrobe. These space saving hangers are a god send saving you so much space, which means you’re prepared for whatever the weather.

Collapsible Fabric Storage Cubes
These are a must when packing. I use a cube for each person filling each one with clothing, toiletries, toys etc… I then neatly pop these into our rooms keeping things hidden from view and organised. They also fold away nicely.

MAKE YOUR CARAVAN INTERIOR LOOK BIGGER
With a caravan being such a smaller space compared to your home it can feel cramped inside. Below you will find simple tips that will make your caravan interior look and feel bigger giving the illusion of more space.

TIP 1: Paint
Paint the interior of your caravan white. This will lighten and brighten up the interior making it feel bigger and more spacious. If you’re not a fan of white, you can use any light colour and this will work just as good. To add a bit of colour you can add some funky cushions and throws.
TIP 2: Mirrors
Using mirrors around your static will give the illusion of depth to a room. Natural and artificial light can bounce around the space creating an illusion of more light and openness. This works in the same way as light colours on the walls. A mirror will make the space feel and look bigger than it really is.

TIP 3: Furniture
Lightweight and compact furniture is the best solution for making the most of your space and allowing more room to move about. Compacted future is designed to fit into small spaces allowing you to make the most of every inch of your caravan.
With lightweight furniture you can easily move this around to change the layout and make the space different for different activities and guests.
TIP 4: The Kitchen
Your kitchen area does not need to be dull and boring. By replacing or paining your kitchen cupboard doors it will give it a new lease of life. You could give the worktops a rub down and sandpaper and use a varnish to bring back the sparkle. There are lots of affordable kitchen appliances available, like matching kettle, toaster, and crockery.
