Jenny Blumsom – a NACO team member gives some exciting ideas to entertain the family this summer……..

If, like me, you sometimes find it hard to entertain the little people in your life – especially on those rainy days – you might enjoy some of these space-saving activities for all the family.

Holidaying in a caravan can be quite tight on space and storing can sometimes be a problem!

So, I am going to be looking at inside/outside games that can be stored easily and won’t break the bank!

Boules

A GREAT OUTDOOR GAME – Whether it’s a sports game for fun or of a competitive nature, this Boules pack is certain to create many happy memories and laughs. Boules is playable by all ages and perfect for some fun in the sun whether you’re camping, caravanning, in the garden, at the beach or maybe at the park.

fe 1

This set comes in a handy carry case, allowing for quick storage and easy transportation. It contains 8 multi-coloured plastic boules and the all-important jack. Be the first to reach 13 points – aim your coloured boules as close to the jack as you can. Knock your opponents’ boules out of the way so you can get a little closer!! Who is going to be crowned the champion in your family?

Toss and Catch

Toss and catch ball games can exercise kids’ hand-eye co-ordination and physical fitness.

fe 2

They can be played indoors or outdoors, where the scope of locations is virtually limitless.

This set includes 4 paddles, 4 balls and a storage bag.

Paddle straps are adjustable in length, making them suitable for all ages.

Mini Football

My boys love this. The kit including, nets, footballs, pump, goal posts and other mounting accessories.

fe 3

These kids’ football goals are suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Outdoors, you can use the ground peg to fix the goal posts.

The goals are easy to store, and they can be dismantled when not in use.

Kite

Let’s go fly a kite! It’s time to take your outdoor adventures to the next level with screen-free, outdoor play!

fe 4

A kite is a fantastic way for children to stay active and release extra energy. Feel the wind in your hair as you run, kite in hand, and watch it soar!

Quoits

Multi-coloured plastic ring-toss game; fun for kids, home or away.

fe 5

Easily assembled, the game is lightweight and portable.

It can help improve skills such as accuracy, hand to eye co-ordination and balance.

Tug-of-War Rope

For Kids and Adults. You can use this tug-of-war rope at your family reunion, outdoor birthday parties, picnics, beach outings, lawn family outings or when camping.

fe 6

The rope is made of natural twisted cotton. It is soft and comfortable to protect little hands during games. The adjustable centre flag helps with adjudication.

As an extra treat it comes with 12 game prizes to reward the

winners. Comes with a storage bag, which also makes for easy

carrying.

Bubble Wands set.

This Giant Bubble Wands kit is easy to use. Just put some bubble solution (Washing up liquid) in the bubble tray, stir the water with a bubble stick, then blow or wave the bubble stick.

fe 7

Wands included: 7 giant, 7 medium and 2 small. Also included are 2

large bubble plates and 1 small bubble tray.

Everyone loves bubbles; this durable set is a versatile treat!

Badminton

It can be enjoyed by all ages for an unforgettable outdoor playing experience.

fe 8

The badminton racket set is easy to carry and set up. It comes with a portable carry case, net holders, ground reinforcement studs, and a badminton net which allow you to create your own badminton court. LOVE THIS!!!!

So, after all of this, there is simply no excuse for the kids to be bored while caravanning. Enjoy
