Everything you need to make the winter walks happen!

Here are some top tips and hacks to help you make the most of the exterior space around your holiday home, keeping everything tidy, accessible, and weatherproof.

Decking storage solutions

If you have decking around your caravan, it’s prime real estate for additional storage.

Built-In Benches: Use built-in benches with lift-up seats to store cushions, BBQ equipment, or even small sports gear. They provide extra seating and storage in one!

Weatherproof Storage Boxes: Invest in sturdy, waterproof storage boxes to keep your belongings dry and safe. These are ideal for storing outdoor furniture, toys, and garden tools.

Vertical Storage

When floor space is limited, think vertical! Utilising the walls and vertical spaces can free up a lot of ground space.

Hooks and Racks: Install hooks and racks on the exterior walls of your caravan oron fencing around your pitch. These are perfect for hanging bikes, garden tools, or even a watering can.

Shelving Units: Weatherproof shelving units can be placed against the caravan walls or inside a shed. Use these for storing smaller items, like pots, pans, and plant care supplies.

Shed & Storage Tents

A small garden shed or a robust storage tent can be a lifesaver for those with a lot of outdoor gear.

Garden Shed: A compact garden shed can store larger items such as bicycles, lawn chairs, and BBQs. Make sure it’s weatherproof and lockable to keep your belongings safe.

Storage Tent: If you need something more flexible, a storage tent is easy to set up and take down. These are ideal for seasonal use, providing extra space when you need it and packing away when you don’t.

Creative container solutions

Think outside the box when it comes to containers and storage options.

Repurposed Furniture: Old furniture can be repurposed for outdoor storage. An old chest of drawers, for example, can be given a new lease on life with a coat of weather- proof paint.

Plant Pots with Hidden Storage:

Some large plant pots come with hidden compartments. These are great for storing smaller items while adding a decorative touch to your outdoor area.

By incorporating these clever storage solutions and hacks, you can keep your static caravan clutter-free and make the most of your outdoor space. Whether you’re storing seasonal items or everyday essentials, these tips will help you stay organized and enjoy your holiday home to the fullest. Happy caravanning
