Stylish, with hints of industrial modern design is how I would describe Victory’s Faraday lodge. Fortuitously, I had the opportunity to visit a local park that had just taken delivery of 2 of these stunning units. More frequently I’m seeing caravans and lodges which are much less van-like and more styled as an apartment, The Faraday definitely ticks that box is being heralded by Victory as a boutique starter home.
The hallway entrance is wider than most and offers a bank of storage behind handle-less soft close cupboards. There is room for a washing machine stacked with shelves above and to the side to house towels, bedlinen, boots shoes or just a place to store those bulkier, unsightly items like hoovers, mops or ironing boards. The hallway then connects to an interior corridor, a practical feature that often is overlooked but really does make your van feel more like a home. Directly opposite the entrance hallway is where you will find the heart of this unit. The lounge has an electric log burner, modern black modular sofa, and a super soft teddy bear fabric single occasional chair with matching fleece cushions making the area so cosy and inviting.
The lounge/kitchen is open plan, the kitchen is clean and unfussy – more handle-less cupboards and all the standard features you would expect – again small, but worthy of noting, the kitchen has a door closing off the living area from the rest of the unit. Favoured by some as a way to prevent cooking smells running through the lodge and more importantly keeping the area warm and snuggly.
The bedrooms have contemporary styled furniture with stunning wooden slat headboards and the matt black accessories continue to bring this unit together beautifully. The master bedroom is spacious with en-suite rainforest shower. Both the ensuite and main bathroom have reeded glass in the windows, offers a change to frosted privacy glass.
All in all this unit is a wonderful edition to the already impressive Victory portfolio and is available in both 2 and 3 bed options.
